Korean Culture Community Foundation (KCCF) USA
The Korean Culture Community Foundation (KCCF) USA
is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the richness and beauty of Korean heritage with the world. We serve as a cultural bridge—connecting people across generations, languages, and backgrounds—through programs that celebrate Korean traditions while embracing the diverse communities around us.
Our mission is rooted in the belief that culture has the power to unite, heal, and empower. Through a wide range of programs—including cultural education, wellness and senior services, intergenerational dialogue, and community engagement—we create welcoming spaces where Korean American immigrants, elders, youth, and allies can learn, connect, and thrive.
We are especially committed to supporting Korean American seniors, providing linguistically and culturally accessible programs that promote wellness, reduce isolation, and honor their lived experiences. At the same time, we nurture future generations by fostering pride in identity and creating opportunities for cross-cultural understanding.
With deep community ties, dedicated volunteers, and a strong network of partners, KCCF stands as a home for cultural pride, intergenerational connection, and inclusive belonging.
Together, we honor the past, celebrate the present, and build a stronger, more connected future.
Dear Fellow Koreans,
I am honored to take on the role of the 2nd President of the Korean Cultural Community Foundation, USA (KCCF), starting in January 2025. It is with great pride and a deep sense of responsibility that I extend my warmest greetings to all of you.
First and foremost, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to our founding President, Chongrull Um. He has laid a strong foundation for our organization and has been instrumental in its success over the past 14 years since its inception in 2010. His dedication and leadership have been the cornerstones of our foundation’;s growth and success and will continue to support our future endeavors.
The KCCF formerly known as the Korean Traditional Culture Institute of America, has been renamed to better position ourselves as a leading organization in promoting Korean culture within our communities. Our mission is to preserve and share the richness and beauty of Korean heritage with the world, acting as a bridge that connects people from all backgrounds.
Through cultural education, wellness programs, and intergenerational communication, we aim to foster an inclusive community that embraces diversity and unites generations. Looking ahead, we plan to expand various cultural events and strengthen our collaborations with educational institutions to further promote the value of Korean culture. We are committed to providing enriching cultural experiences and fostering meaningful interactions, all while dedicating our unwavering passion to achieving our mission.
Your continued support and participation are the most powerful driving forces guiding our foundation’s path forward. I am excited to begin our journey of promoting the beauty of Korean culture worldwide, starting here in Philadelphia. I sincerely hope that all of you will lend a helping hand and take an interest in this meaningful cause.
Thank you
